PROFILE - ELLEN WALKER

Ellen is a Provisional Psychologist currently finalising her Master of Applied Psychology (Professional) degree at Murdoch University, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science (Psychology Major) in 2023. Throughout her studies, Ellen was involved in several well-being support and academic care services across school and university settings, getting to work with a diverse range of students across the lifespan.
Ellen currently works full-time at The Henry Street Centre, offering therapeutic support as well as psycho-educational assessments under the guidance of experienced Board-approved supervisors.
Ellen’s client-centred approach aims to establish a safe and non-judgmental relational container within which her clients feel seen, heard, and respected on a human-to-human basis. She sees therapy clients of all ages and backgrounds, although she is particularly passionate about child and adolescent mental health. Ellen also supports children, adolescents and adults through comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioural functioning.
