THE HENRY STREET CENTRE
Psychology
PROFILE: TOM MARSH
I am a Registered Psychologist who completed my Master of Psychology (Clinical) at Curtin University in 2025.
I have experience working across the public sector in child and adolescent mental health, youth drug and alcohol services and regional mental health.
These experiences have led me to support children, adolescents, and adults with a range of mental health concerns and varying levels of complexity and acuity including mood disorders (i.e., depression), anxiety, OCD, phobias ADHD, trauma, sense of self and identity, interpersonal difficulties.
My therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed approaches. I value authentic and genuine connections, recognising that a strong therapeutic relationship is central to building rapport and a trusting therapeutic alliance.
I work alongside clients to understand their experiences, develop practical skills, and support meaningful changes that enhance their wellbeing and day-to-day life.
Outside of the office I enjoy many outdoors and ocean based activities including surfing, freediving and catching up with friends and family
